Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), a leading stainless steel manufacturer in Taiwan, reported its March consolidated revenue of NT$3.264 billion, up by 39.5% compared to February and hitting the highest level in five months.
Although this figure slightly declined by 2.91% year on year, the rebound pushed monthly revenue back above the NT$3 billion level. The first-quarter revenue reached NT$8.234 billion, falling by 18.6% from the same period last year.
The revenue growth was due to Yusco’s consistent price adjustments, with April stainless steel prices rising by NT$4,000 per ton. This represents the fifth consecutive monthly increase.
In spite of a net loss of NT$6.22 billion in 2025, the company maintains a positive outlook for 2026 as global steel market conditions improve and raw material costs continue to rise.
