Taiwan’s Walsin Lihwa established “Walsin Century Nuclear System Co., Ltd.” on November 3 through a joint agreement with Century Energy Co., Ltd., Kaori Heat Treatment Co., Ltd., and Tai Fung Trading Co., Ltd.
The partnership integrates material production, heavy equipment manufacturing, heat management technology, and international marketing resources to advance small modular reactor (SMR) and micro modular reactor (MMR) supply chain capabilities.
Initial operations focus on expanding into overseas nuclear markets, supplying equipment to existing domestic facilities, and securing international nuclear safety certifications like ASME.
Walsin Lihwa supplies stainless steel, nickel alloys, pipes, and nuclear-grade cables, capitalizing on its certified nuclear material capabilities, European supply track record, and partnerships with major international aerospace and defense corporations.
