US launches AD & CVD probes into imported welded stainless steel pipes from 3 nations

Three American manufacturers filed petitions on July 15, 2026, prompting the US International Trade Commission (USITC) to probe imports of welded stainless steel line and pressure pipe from India, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

Bristol Pipe and Tube, Inc., Felker Brothers Corporation, and Primus Pipe and Tube, Inc. alleged that foreign producers dump these products at unfair prices, with Indian and Turkish suppliers also receiving government subsidies.

The inquiry targets imports under US Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheadings 7305.31.60, 7306.11.00, 7306.40.50, and potentially 7306.40.10.

The Commission expects a preliminary decision by August 31, 2026, sending findings to the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) by September 8, 2026. The USDOC plans its own investigations around August 4, 2026.
