Turkish manufacturer Ukinox plans to establish a US$14 million stainless steel kitchen sink facility within the Sokhna Industrial Zone.
Spanning 37,000 square meters, the plant aims to manufacture 1.2 million units annually to supply both domestic and international markets. The initial phase of production is scheduled to commence in mid-2028, creating 220 direct jobs.
This investment meets Egypt’s initiative to attract specialized engineering industries, localize advanced manufacturing, and expand export-oriented enterprises.
Managed by the Main Development Company (MDC) of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, the industrial hub offers investors direct access to advanced infrastructure and proximity to the Sokhna seaport, strengthening integration across regional and global supply chains.
