LME aluminium prices advanced on August 11, with cash and three-month contracts rising by more than 1 per cent as LME stocks continued to edge lower.{alcircleadd}
The LME aluminium cash bid price increased to USD 3,372 per tonne on August 11 from USD 3,327 per tonne on August 10, marking a rise of 1.35 per cent. The cash offer price also climbed to USD 3,373 per tonne from USD 3,327.5 per tonne, up 1.37 per cent.
The three-month bid price stood at USD 3,373 per tonne, compared with USD 3,320 per tonne a day earlier, representing an increase of 1.60 per cent. The three-month offer price rose to USD 3,374 per tonne from USD 3,320.5 per tonne, up 1.61 per cent.
The December 27 bid price rose to USD 3,260 per tonne from USD 3,227 per tonne on August 10, an increase of 1.02 per cent. The December 27 offer price similarly increased to USD 3,265 per tonne from USD 3,232 per tonne, also up 1.02 per cent.
