Argentina ends AD duties on Chinese aluminum tubes

Argentina’s Ministry of Economy ended anti-dumping (AD) duties on aluminum tubes from China, according to Resolution No. 883 issued on July 3, 2026. This final determination concludes a sunset and changed circumstances review launched in November 2025.

The decision targets aluminum tubes, unalloyed or made of aluminum alloys of the 3xxx or 6xxx series under IRAM Standard 681, with an outside diameter less than or equal to 130 mm, including coil forms. Precision drawn tubing of the 3xxx series is excluded. These goods fall under tariff codes 7608.10.00 and 7608.20.90 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM).

The initial probe began in May 2019, leading to a 75.52% duty on Chinese imports in November 2020. The subsequent review evaluated dumping data from July 2024 to June 2025 and injury data starting January 2022.

The termination takes effect immediately.
