Aperam, a stainless steel manufacturer based in Luxembourg, adjusted the alloy surcharge for its European austenitic stainless steel flat products for July.
The surcharge for 304 (1.4301) was decreased to EUR 2,339/ton from June’s EUR 2,365/ton; that for 316L (1.4404) was increased to EUR 4,089/ton from EUR 4,056/ton in the previous month; that of 309S (1.4833), used in high-temperature corrosion resistance applications, was EUR 3,151/ton, compared to EUR 3,192/ton in June; that of ferritic stainless steel 409 (1.4512) was dropped to EUR 919/ton from the previous month’s EUR 917/ton.
The new surcharge will be applicable on July 1, 2026.
