Following Yieh United Steel Corporation (Yusco), Tang Eng Iron Works released its October pricing, raising 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled products by NT$1,000 per ton while keeping 316L surcharges flat.
This adjustment matches Yusco, marking three consecutive months of price hikes for 304 flat-rolled products following increases of NT$1,500 in both August and September, totaling NT$4,000 over the period.
On the contrary, Walsin Lihwa kept its October 304 wire rod price unchanged, raising only specific copper-bearing, free-cutting, and 316 alloy grades by NT$1,000 to NY$2,000, demonstrating differing price adjustments between flat-rolled and wire rod products.
