Primetals Technologies secured an order from Lidao New Energy in Wuhe, Anhui Province, China, to supply seven Technology Control System (TCS) packages for new battery aluminum foil mills.
Scheduled for operation by 2027, the supply scope features Air Bearing ShapeMeter (ABSM) rolls and the latest ISV Electric (ISV-E) and ISV Electric Compact (ISV-EC) spray systems for precise cooling, lubrication, and flatness control.
Building upon a 2022 partnership that included eight TCS packages, this project reinforces cooperation between both companies. Designed and assembled in the UK, the new fully electric valve systems optimize 3D spray patterns for advanced battery aluminum foil production.
