India’s Venus Pipes and Tubes Limited commenced commercial operations at a new fittings facility and expanded its seamless pipes and tubes capacity in Dhaneti, Gujarat, on May 26, 2026.
The stainless steel manufacturer added 4,200 metric tons per annum (MTPA) of seamless capacity in this stage. Combined with 1,800 MTPA commissioned in November 2025, total incremental seamless capacity reached 6,000 MTPA, exceeding the original 4,800 MTPA target. The company also integrated an equivalent mother hollow pipe capacity.
The new fittings unit expands the company’s value-added product mix. This expansion targets domestic and international clients across traditional sectors such as power, oil & gas, chemicals, and engineering, coupled with new fields like data centers and semiconductor production, to support long-term growth.
