The Department for Internal Market Defence of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) issued its final disclosure for the first anti-dumping (AD) sunset review regarding stainless steel welded pipes originating in China.
The authority said that removing the existing AD measure would lead to the recurrence of dumping and subsequent injury to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) industries. Therefore, it proposed maintaining the AD duties for an additional five years.
The products involved are welded pipes and hollow profiles made of corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel, with a wall thickness from 0.4 to 6 mm inclusive, of a circular cross-section, a rectangular cross-section, or a square cross-section. These goods fall under HS codes 7306 40 2009, 7306 40 800 1, 7306 40 800 8, and 7306 61 1009.
The current AD duty rate is 14.62% for Foshan Vinmay Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and 17.28% for Guangdong Sumwin New Material Group Co., Ltd. and other Chinese producers.
