AMS Ecogreen Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of AMS Advanced Material Bhd, received the necessary licences for its new aluminum scrap venture.
Based in Johor, this facility will handle collecting, processing, and selling aluminum scrap materials, starting with a monthly volume of 17 tons.
Managing Director Keh Teng Yang said that this new business fulfills a key objective from their initial public offering prospectus. The recycling initiative integrates smoothly with the group’s current semi-finished aluminum and copper trading and processing activities across Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
The company expects that this addition will generate new recurring revenue by addressing rising industry demand for sustainable manufacturing practices.
