South Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance has decided to extend the imposition period of the provisional anti-dumping (AD) duty on cold-rolled stainless steel from Vietnam by another three months. Therefore, the duty imposition period, which was originally scheduled to end on April 18, has been extended to July 18.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance stated that to prevent potential damage during the dumping investigation, the provisional measure’s application period would be extended to seven months under the Customs Act.
The provisional AD duty rate ranges from 3.66% to 11.37%. Among them, the duty rate is 3.66% for YongJin Metal Technology (Vietnam) and its affiliated manufacturers/exporters, 11.37% for TVL Joint Stock Company, TVL Steel Production and Construction Joint Stock Company, and their affiliated manufacturers/exporters, and 4.79% for other Vietnamese suppliers.
