Metal One Corporation, a steel trading company in Japan, finalized the purchase of all remaining shares in Pacific Sheet & Coil (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (PSCTH) on March 9, 2026. This move converts the firm, in which Metal One previously held a 49% stake, into a wholly owned subsidiary of the group.
PSCTH operates an integrated processing system for the Thai stainless steel sheet market, providing a one-stop service that handles high-quality processing from wide to narrow widths. Since introducing a coil polishing machine in 2018, the company has grown its sales of polished products.
Metal One now aims to expand sales of high value-added products, primarily these polished items, and grow its export business by utilizing the subsidiary’s bonded factory functions. By leveraging its global procurement and sales network, Metal One will provide optimal solutions and address the diverse needs of customers through PSCTH.
