E United Group reports success across its steel and healthcare divisions. The group’s steel with 98% recycled content (RC) has gained certification, allowing for significant carbon tax savings and attracting new buyers from Europe. Founder I-Shou Lin also announced that the E-Da Pingtung Hospital is on track to open this September.
To improve competitiveness, subsidiary Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco) invested more than NT$40 billion in equipment, significantly lowering production costs after depreciation.
Besides, Yusco also launched Taiwan’s first continuous 8K mirror polishing line for high-end industrial and 3C applications. Meanwhile, upgrades to stainless steel melting and hot-rolling facilities are nearly complete, with production lines expected to resume normal operations soon.
