US’ OCTG imports fall in Oct
According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported a total of around 110,000 tons of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) in October this year, dropping by 19% from the previous month and 31.7% from October last year. The total export value was about US$114 million, compared to US$147 million in September and US$177 million in the same month a year ago.

Among them, the imports from South Korea accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 20,000 tons, compared to 22,000 tons last month. The other major supplied countries included Taiwan (about 17,000 tons), Mexico (about 11,000 tons), and Argentina (roughly 10,000 tons).
