US’ HRC imports fall in Jun
According to the preliminary statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported a total of around 152,000 tons of hot-rolled coil this June, down by 26.6% month on month, also down by 26.5% year on year.
Among them, the imports from Canada were around 49,000 tons, dropping from 124,000 tons in the previous month, also falling from 64,000 tons in the same month a year earlier; those from South Korea were around 28,000 tons; those from Japan were around 25,000 tons; those from Mexico were around 11,000 tons; those from Germany were around 9,200 tons; those from Serbia were around 7,900 tons.
