US’ HRC exports up in Sep
According to the statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), US’ hot-rolled coil imports totaled around 225,000 tons in September 2018, increasing by 25.3% compared with the same period of last month and up by 44.4% compared with the same period of last year.
In terms of importing sources, Canada ranked first with the largest US' hot-rolled coil imports of around 75,000 tons, down by 17.9% month on month and up by 21.6% year on year; followed by South Korea with around 56,000 tons; followed by Turkey with around 28,000 tons; followed by Japan with around 19,000 tons; followed by other countries with around 21,000 tons.
