US’ hot-rolled steel bar imports fall in Jun
According to the preliminary Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around 77,000 tons of hot-rolled steel bar this June, a month-on-month decrease of 18.7% and a year-on-year reduction of 45.9%.
Among them, the imports Canada were around 29,000 tons, dropping from 46,000 tons in the previous month, also falling from 44,000 tons in June last year; those from Japan were around 15,000 tons; those from France were around 7,300 tons; those from Germany were around 6,900 tons; those from China were around 6,800 tons.
