US’ hot-rolled steel bar exports drop in Nov 2020
According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 28,800 tons of hot-rolled steel bar in November 2020, dropping by 1.2% compared to the previous month while rising by nearly 7% from the same month a year earlier.
Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 14,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 4.3% and a year-on-year increase of 8.8%. Canada ranked second with roughly 13,400 tons, and the exports to other countries were less than 1,000 tons.
