According to the report from Baker Hughes, as of the week ended October 26th, the number of US’ drilling rigs totaled 1,068 units, up by 1 unit from a week ago. Among them, the number of drilling rig for natural gas fell by 1 unit week on week, coming to 193 units; that for oil increased by 2 units week on week to 875 units.
In the same period, the number of Canadian drilling rigs hiked by 9 units compared to the previous week, totaling 200 units, also rising by 9 units compared to the same period a year ago.
The number of drilling rig in North America totaled 1,268 units as of the week ended October 26th, up by 10 units from last week, showing a year-on-year hike of 153 units.
