According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported a total of around 59,000 tons of bloom and billet this June, down by 44.6% compared to the previous month, also down by 68.5% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the imports from Russia were around 28,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 66.44%; those from Brazil were around 15,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 90.8%; those from Ukraine were around 12,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 92.51%.
