Turkey's crude steel output reaches 5.9 million tons in Jan-Feb
According to statistics, Turkey's crude steel production hit 5.9 million tons from January to February, which up by 12.7% compared to the same period 2019.
However, Turkey's incomes from steel exports went down by around 9.6% during the period compared to the same period of time in 2019.
Besides, Turkey's steel products exports dropped by 4.9% in the first two months in 2020 year on year, and the imports went up by 40.4% yearly, reaching 2.6 million tons.
In the same period of time, crude steel imports increased by 16.3% annually, hitting US$1.8 billion.
