According to the SMM survey, the national output of stainless steel in November was 2.423 million tons, an increase of 0.71% over the previous month and 8.11% over the same period last year. According to the series, the output of the 200 series increased by 3.24% to 797000 tons compared with the previous month, due to the resumption of normal production in some maintenance mills in the early stage. The output of 400 series increased by 4% to 460700 tons from the previous month, the profit level of 400 series was stable, and the conversion part was from 300 series to 400 series. The production of 300 series decreased by 2.15% to 1.1654 million tons month-on-month, mainly due to the annual maintenance of East China Steel Plant at the end of November, as well as the serious loss of 300 series in some steel plants, and a small amount of production changed from 300 series to 400 series.

The initial output of stainless steel in December was 2.4044 million tons, down 0.77 percent from the previous month, an increase of 9.12 percent over the same period last year. Of these, the month-on-month decrease of 3.34% to 1.1264 million tons is mainly due to the maintenance and production reduction of the East China Steel Plant until the beginning of December. The output of the 400 series was 461000 tons, an increase of 0.07 percent over the previous month. The output of 200 series was 817000 tons, an increase of 2.51 to 817000 tons.
