Thyssenkrupp Materials Services plans to achieve climate neutrality by 2030
Thyssenkrupp Materials Services said it planned to accelerate the decarbonization of the steel supply chain and achieve climate neutrality by 2030.

According to the company’s statement, through the way it will put effort into, the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions will reach more than 100,000 tons per year by 2030. This goal will be achieved by having energy efficiency programs, switching to green electricity, investing in photovoltaics, and turning to LED lighting.

The cutting center in Krefeld will be the first Thyssenkrupp Materials Services’ location to achieve climate neutrality by 2024.
