"the smelting times of refining ladles also have a great impact on the release of VOD capacity, so the steelmaking branch sends people to work with the technical staff of the refractory company to solve the problem of refractories." According to Ruan Jiazeng, director of the steelmaking branch of the company, in the past year, stainless steel branch has repeatedly tested refractory materials and masonry methods, optimized the VOD smelting process, made a breakthrough in the bottleneck, and doubled the refining times of VOD special refining ladles. Through the technical research on the slow cooling time and grinding time, the technical personnel can reduce the storage time of the slab in the heat preservation pit on the premise of ensuring the quality, optimize the production organization of each link, reduce the grinding time, and strive to improve the turnover efficiency and maximize the use efficiency of the heat preservation pit.
