Tenaris to purchase TMK's IPSCO Tubulars
Luxembourg‘s Tenaris SA scheduled to purchase Houston-based IPSCO Tubulars Inc., a division of TMK IPSCO, with US$1.21 billion.
IPSCO Tubulars is a U.S. producer possessing capacity 1 million tons of welded pipe, 400,000 tons of seamless pipe and 450,000 tons of steel bars yearly. Tenaris kept expanding their US mark and position during these 15 years. The procurement was expected to be the significant step for Tenaris’ both manufacture and supplier in the US oil and gas market.
Tenaris S.A. produces and supply welded steel pipes for gas pipelines with headquarter located in Luxembourg and manufactures in USA, and other countries globally.
