ASG 12, May 5: according to the China Seismological Network, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake occurred at 08:02 on December 5 in Fengnan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, with a focal depth of 10 km. Beijing, Tianjin and other areas reported that the quake was felt.
According to SMM research, Tangshan steelmakers said the local quake was not strong and did not affect daily production for the time being. SMM will continue to follow the story.
