Taiwan’s Yusco raises stainless steel export prices for May
Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), the largest integrated stainless steel mill in Southeast Asia, announced its new prices for May today (April 29th).
According to the price adjustment, 300 series hot-rolled and cold-rolled prices were both up by NT$2,000/ton, and the surcharge of 430 and 316 stainless steel was kept unchanged.
As for the export price, the price of 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel was hiked by US$60-80/ton.
Yusco said that the adjustment was due to increased nickel prices and higher cost of raw materials.
