Taiwan’s Yieh Hsing hikes carbon steel wire rod prices again for Apr
Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd., one of the major wire rod manufacturers in Taiwan, announced its new prices of carbon steel wire rods for April yesterday (March 31).

According to the price adjustment, the price of killed and al-killed steel wire rods was hiked by NT$1,000/ton and NT$2,000/ton, respectively.

Yieh Hsing said the decision was to reflect the cost of raw materials, such as carbon steel billets, whose prices went up due to higher demand.

It was Yieh Hsing’s price increase for six months in a row.

Due to the tight supply in the market, the market prices will continue to keep stable.
