Taiwan’s stainless steel billet imports drop in Q1-Q3
According to statistics, in the first 3 quarters of this year, Taiwan's stainless steel billet imports totaled around 37,000 tons, obviously decreasing by 55.68% compared to the same period a year ago.
Market participants said that the decrease in stainless steel billet imports and import prices will help to stabilize the stainless steel market in Taiwan.
Besides, nickel prices have risen significantly in recent months, so the import price of stainless steel billet was expected to rise gradually in the future.
