Taiwan’s stainless steel billet imports drop almost 50% y-o-y this year
According to the news, the total imports of stainless steel billet in the first 10 months this year in Taiwan had dropped by around 50% year on year, but the imports still got around 45,000 tons.
Among them, there were over 80% of the imported billet was from Indonesia, mainly because of the low price.
In 2018, the total imports of stainless steel billet in Taiwan had hit to around 120,000 tons, which increased by 503% year on year at that time, and over 100,000 tons were from Indonesia.
