Taiwanese stainless steel wire rod imports rise while exports fall in Feb
According to the statistics, Taiwan imported around 1,800 tons of stainless steel wire rod in February this year, up by 31.18% compared to the previous month. Among them, Japan, South Korea and India were the top 3 import sources, with the total volume of around 2,300 tons, 700 tons and 50 tons respectively.
In addition, the exports of stainless steel wire rod in Taiwan totaled approximately 10,800 tons, dropping by 15% from the previous month. Among them, the main destinations included Thailand, South Korea and Malaysia, with the volume totaling around 5,500 tons, 3,400 tons and 2,900 tons respectively.
