Taiwanese stainless steel wire exports drop in Jan-Jul
According to statistics, in the first 7 months of this year, Taiwan exported a total of around 11,000 tons of stainless steel wire, dropping by 1.58% compared to the same period a year ago.
Among them, the exports to the US were around 1,300 tons, accounting for 11.3% of total, a year-on-year decline of 0.24%; those to 28 EU countries were around 1,700 tons, accounting for 15.23%, a year-on-year decrease of 3.09%; those to 10 ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries, Japan, South Korea, India and other major Asian markets totaled around 6,400 tons, accounting for 57.12%, up by 1.91% year on year; those to the remaining countries were 1,800 tons roughly, accounting for 16.35%, sliding by 11.66% from the same period of last year.
