Taiwanese HRC imports rebound while exports drop in Jul
According to the statistics, Taiwan imported around 27,000 tons of hot-rolled coils in July, up from 12,000 tons in the previous month.

The imports of hot-rolled coil with a thickness less than 3mm were around 22,000 tons, rising from last month’s 10,000 tons. Among them, the imports from Japan were around 14,000 tons, and those from South Korea were around 7,800 tons. 

The imports of hot-rolled coil with a thickness more or equal to 3mm were around 5,000 tons, increasing from 2,100 tons in the previous month. Among them, the imports from Japan were around 3,000 tons, and those from South Korea were around 2,100 tons.

As for exports, Taiwan exported around 356,000 tons of hot-rolled coil in July, falling from 369,000 tons in the previous month. The net exports totaled around 330,000 tons in July, down from 360,000 tons in June.

The exports of hot-rolled coil with a thickness less than 3mm were around 350,000 tons, dropping from last month’s 240,000 tons. Among them, the exports to Vietnam were around 54,000 tons; those to Malaysia were around 49,000 tons; those to Pakistan were around 42,000 tons; those to Japan were around 27,000 tons; those to Bangladesh were around 13,000 tons; those to China were around 12,000 tons. 

The exports of hot-rolled coil with a thickness more or equal to 3mm were around 108,000 tons, sliding from 126,000 tons in June. Among them, the exports to Vietnam were around 36,000 tons; those to Japan were around 16,000 tons; those to Malaysia were around 15,000 tons; those to Pakistan were around 8,900 tons; those to the Philippines were around 6,200 tons; those to Italy were around 6,200 tons.
