Dragon Steel Corporation (DSC), one of the hot-rolled structural steel sections manufacturers in Taiwan, announced to remain its H-beam prices for November.
The new price was as expectation from market participants. There wasn't many public construction demand currently. The international financial market was also not good. Affected by this, buyers were more conservative to purchase now.
Therefore, DSC decided to hold the price in order to stabilize the market. According to understanding, the H-beam deal price was in the range of NT$20,700/ton. After DSC unchanged the price, the deal price was expected to be stable in the market.
