According to the statistics from the South African Bureau of Statistics, its seasonal adjusted production index of iron ore in June increased by 4.1% month on month and rose by 4.2% year on year; that of manganese ore hiked by 11.5% month on month and declined by 12.3%; that of nickel grew by 9% month on month and decreased by 5.2% year on year.
Additionally, the seasonal adjusted sales amount of iron ore in June was around 3.3 billion rand, down by 11.4% month on month and rose by 3.3% year on year; that of manganese ore was about 4.4 billion rand, increased by 7.2% month on month and grew by 11.5% year on year; that of nickel was 622 million rand roughly, hiked by 12.3%.
