According to the statistics, the exports of South African iron ore and pellet totaled around 32.4 million tons in the first half this year, up by 2% compared to 31.7 million tons in the same period a year ago.
Among them, the exports to China were around 20.2 million tons, accounting for 62% of the total exports; those to India were around 2.3 million tons, accounting for 7%; those to Japan were around 2 million tons, accounting for 6%; those to South Korea were around 1.9 million tons, accounting for 6%; those to the Netherlands were around 1.7 million tons, accounting for 5%.
