South African ferroalloy exports fall in Sep
According to the trade statistics, South African ferroalloy exports totaled around 335,000 tons this September, down by 1.6% compared to the previous month. The exports in the first 9 months this year amounted to 3.14 million tons roughly, dropping by 22.35% from the same period last year.
Among the exports in September, the exports of high carbon ferromanganese were around 12,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 24.89%; those of silico-manganese were around 6,600 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 19.46%; those of high carbon ferrochrome were around 305,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 0.25%.
