Shanxi Xiaoyi's alumina mills to limit production by 50%
It was reported that a notice released by a local pollution prevention office of Xiaoyi city announced that the city will strengthen the industrial pollution prevention, fully control the unorganized emissions from industrial enterprises, implement peak staggering production, carry out measures to limit production and reduce emissions in coking enterprises, as well as restrict production of alumina mills by 50%.
The period of the measure was from August 8th to 20th, 2019.
It was understood that the current alumina production capacity in Xiaoyi city was around 8 million tons.
