Shanxi Taigang designs thinnest stainless steel in China
Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Precision Strip Co., Limited. designed a thinnest stainless steel with the 0.02mm thickness and 600mm width. Taigang stated that its new product was the thinnest stainless steel among all the steel companies in China on the current.
Additionally, Taigang stated that the average size of stainless steel was 0.05-0.5mm, and those below 0.05mm was called stainless steel foil. This new designation was mainly applied on aerospace, vehicle, electricity and computers products.
