Russia’s Norilsk Nickel remains its nickel-production goal for 2020, despite poor performance in Q1
According to the announcement from Norilsk Nickel, one of the largest nickel providers in the world, although the output in the first quarter was not very well, the company still remained its production goal for 2020.

The main reason for the weak production in the first quarter was caused by the COVID-19 epidemic impact, but the top manager of Norilsk Nickel believed the situation would be easing continuously in the second half of this year.

Among them, the total output of nickel in the first quarter from Norilsk Nickel was around 52,000 tons, decreased by 7% year on year.
