RUSAL’s aluminum production for can industries drops in Q3
According to reports released by United Company RUSAL (RUSAL), the second-largest aluminum company in the world, in the three months as of the end of September (the third quarter), the production of packages and foil products totaled around 24,600 tons, dropping by nearly 3% compared to the same period a year ago, although the overall aluminum production had a year-on-year increase of 0.4% to 942,000 tons roughly.

RUSAL supplied a small amount of cans inventory to domestic producers, including Ball Corporation’s three beverage cans plants in western Russia.
