RUSAL plans to put second production line of aluminum smelter by end-Mar
According to market news, RUSAL said that it will launch the second production line of Boguchansk aluminum smelter in Siberia at the end of March.
In January, the US Department of the Treasury announced to rescind sanctions on the three enterprises related to Oleg Deripaska, Rusal, En+ Group and JSC EuroSibEnergo. It brought to a close the restrictions that crippled the firms since last April.
RUSAL mentioned that the project was to expand the smelter’s capacity to 298,000 tons annually from 149,000 tons.
