Rusal and Glencore signed sale contract for primary aluminum
The board of directors has approved the sale of the primary aluminum sales contract by seller Rusal Marketing GmbH to buyer Glencore International Ag.
The seller and the buyer intend to enter into the sales agreement as soon as possible upon the approval of the sale agreement and the transactions contemplated hereunder by the independent shareholders at the general meeting.
The seller will sell to the buyer a maximum of about 7 million tons of primary aluminum under a maximum budget of us $16.3 billion.
