Rio Tinto's alumina output grows in Q4
According to statistics, Rio Tinto, a leading global mining group in Australia, had an alumina output totaling around 2.03 million tons in the fourth quarter last year, up by 0.6% compared to the same period a year ago.
During the same period, Rio Tinto’s iron ore output in the Pilbara region was around 83.6 million tons, and the iron ore shipment came to 86.8 million tons.
Rio Tinto expected that the alumina output will reach 7.8-8.2 million tons in 2020, and the shipments of iron ore will be 330-343 million tons in 2020.
