POSCO announces ANCOR steel to be mass-produced
POSCO announced that after long period of repeated testing, its advanced environmentally-friendly ANCOR steel with sulfuric acid corrosion-resistant has been successfully mass-produced.
It was understood that ANCOR steel had better resistance against sulfuric acid and composite acid than ordinary steel materials. In this regard, POSCO said that the main factor was its surface of ANCOR steel coated with corrosion-resistant alloy layer and protective oxide layer.
In addition, POSCO was still investing in research and development to build steel mills with lower air pollutant emission.
