Peru govt plans to resume mining & construction industries activities in May
The Peruvian government said on May 3rd that the country's mining and civil construction industries planned to slowly resume business activities in May.
Each relevant sector needed to submit its own health and safety protocols before May 8th.
Peru has adopted a strict lockdown policy to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, and Peru ’s key iron ore producer, Shougang Hierro Peru, also suspended its activities during the pandemic.
