Outokumpu lowers stainless steel alloy surcharge for Aug
It was reported, Outokumpu, the biggest European stainless steel manufacturer, had announced to lower its August stainless steel alloy surcharge, which was the first time to cut the price since January this year.
According to the announcement, Outokumpu's August stainless steel alloy surcharge was EUR 1,584/ton, down by EUR 63/ton compared to July. The surcharge for 316 was EUR 2,313/ton, down by EUR 104/ton compared to the previous month. The surcharge for 430 was down by EUR 1/ton to EUR 734/ton.
