Morocco assesses tariffs on CRC & HDG imports
The Moroccan government has announced that it has begun to assess import tariffs on cold-rolled steel coils (CRC) and hot-dip galvanized steel (HDG), and to decide whether to extend the period of tariffs. The assessment was expected to start in late July and the final results would be decided by the end of 2018.
The current tariff measures came into effect in August 2015, with an initial rate of 22%, which has declined year by year and the current rate was 16%.
